KILLINEY SUMMER 2006
Killiney Bay, with its magnificent vista, walks and beach has often been compared to the Bay of Naples. Dominated by Killiney Hill Park, the 200 acre Woodland Victorian Park offers rock climbing for the more experienced enthusiast, abseiling and intriguing walks to be enjoyed by all. The Radio Beacon on the summit of the hill, used as a navigation aid for aircraft, marks the 10 mile radius from Dublin Airport. The breathtaking view from Killiney Hill is an amalgam of past and present cultures. Dalkey Island appears just a stone’s throw away.
